Summer Bishil, an American actress is most famous for her role as Margo Hanson on the Syfy television show The Magicians. Her earlier role as Lebanese American teenage girl Jasira that goes through many personal trials in the context of the U.S. military's invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War was featured in Alan Ball's film Towelhead. In the following year she was named as one of the Ten actors in Variety's list of to See. Her character was a powerful one Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 crime drama film Crossing Over for which she received nominations for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female lead category.
